Do you know how to graph an equation once you have the equation. Say you have an equation like y=mx+b. The first thing you need to do is make your graph. Once you have made your graph, everything will be easier to plot. The first thing you need to do is plug in your numbers to the equation above. Lets say that once you plug in the numbers, you get y= 3/4x + 5. Once you have your equation plugged in, you need to find the y-intercept. To find the y-intercept, all you need to do is look at the number which replaces the letter b in your equation in this case, it is positive five. Since it is a positive number you need to plot it on the positive side of the y-intercept. Once this is plotted, you need to plot the fraction part of the equation, in this case 3/4. To plot it, you need to go to the positive five, go up three, and since the 4 is positive go to the right four times. Once this is there, make a point where it stopped. There you go, your equation is complete.
I hope that you have learned how to plot this. It is fairly simple down below will be some websites that will help you understand a little bit more on how to plot this equation. If you do check out this website, and know some other cool things about this equation share it with me. Don't forget to share this with equation with somebody in a time of need. Until next week!
Think aboout this, you have the slope of the line, but you may wnat to ask some quesrions to see if it is correct. Here is another problem, you dont know what questions to ask. Well, that is were this blog comes in. In this blog, I will be telling you some questions that have to do with the slope of the line. With these questions, you can use them to check your work, ask the teacher for help, or try to solve the problem. In the next paragraphs, you will learn some questions to ask for anyone of your slope questions.
To check your work, ask yourself this: if I plug in the slope where the variable is, will I get the same answer? To help you visualize this, just use the formula y= mx+b to help find the slope of a graph, or like I said before, to help check your homework, or anything that has to do with this. This can be a very helpful formula. This equation will help you with everything math, especially Algebra! I am very glad that we are learning this now, so that we know how to do this we will already know how to solve it. I hope that you have learned a lot more than you did before! Until next time!
Do you know what Pi is, here is a hint not the dessert pie. Pi is a mathematical term. Pi is a very long number. The numbers that Pi is most common for if 3.14. Pi day is almost here as well. Pi day is on March 14. This is pretty funny, because March is the third month and the day number of the day is the 14th. My Pre-Algebra teacher, Mr. Dorman, love Pi. He loves anything to do with Pi. This year he is going to do fun activities on Pi day. He can not wait until it is hear. Pi is not only used in math, it can also be used in science Pi looks like two parallel lines with a little squiggly line on top. It is a pretty basic shape.
Some people like Pi and others just like real pie. Now I am going to write to you some numbers of Pi. Here it goes:
