Todays blog will be about the research of a 12- pack Mountain Dew box versus a 33.8 oz liter of Mountain Dew, with the question of which is a greater buy. If you do not know what Mountain Dew is, it is a soft soda drink, that has a lot of sugar in it. If you went to the store to buy a 12 pack Mountain Dew box it would be about 7 dollars. If you bought a 33.8 liter bottle, it would be about 2 dollars. To find the better deal, you have to first find out how much money is a can of soda in the 12 pack box. To do that, you need to divide 12 by 7. You would end up with a decimal answer, the answer would be about 58 cents for each can, and each can has about 12 ounces. Now, for the liter one, it is 33.8 ounce, for 2 dollars. If you double how many ounces sodas you want from the 12 pack, you would get 24 ounces for about 1.16. If you add 12 more ounces, it would be 36 ounces for 1.74 dollars. The better deal is the twelve pack for 7 dollars, because it gives you more ounces for you dollar.

In conclusion, the better buy would be the 12 pack for 7 dollars. If you really do the math, you would see why the 12 pack is a better deal. This is an informative blog about which is the better buy between a 33.8 ounce or a 12 pack of Mountain Dew. It also really depends on if you plan to serve soda to more than 12 people, because it may also cost a lot of money. For this case, the winner is the 12 pack of soda.

Today is Math Monday. In this blog I will be blogging about the hardest lesson in math that I have done. The hardest lesson for me was combining like terms. This was hard for me, because I was getting confused on which term you add together or subtract. This is what this problem looks like -2x+5-(-2). The first step would be to add or subtract all of the whole by them selves numbers. In this case 5 and -2, you would subtract the 5 and -2. That would be 3. Then, since there is not any number like 2x, you would just leave it alone, so the awnser would be 2x+3. After a while, I kind of understanded this lesson much better.

The key to understanding something is to really pay attention to it. When I finally decided to pay attention to it it made more sense. The more I payed attention to this, I was able to make a connection as to how to solve the problem. Sometimes we tend to shutdown and stress out if we don't understand how to solve a problem, but then I relize to take a deep breath and start all over from the first step. Eventually that little step leads me to solving the problem. Solving a math problem is a proscess that unfourtunatly, if you don't understand it from the start you have to start all over.
